Corrugated cardboard, banknotes, a removable paper band, a small cardstock strip for the handle collar, Christmas wrapping paper, ribbon, scissors, a ruler, a pencil and double-sided tape.
How to make it
Draw a broad trapezoidal dustpan floor with side flaps, a back flap and small corner tabs. Cut out the template and score the fold lines. Fold the sides and back upward, securing the tabs to form a shallow scoop. Leave the wide front edge flat and open.
Roll the banknotes into a short cylinder and secure them with a removable paper band. Attach the roll to the center of the back wall using a folded cardstock collar secured to the cardboard and paper band. Keep tape and glue away from the money.
Cover the cardboard with wrapping paper, fitting it closely inside the scoop and around its raised walls. Wrap the handle separately and add a small ribbon bow near the join
